About Me

I began by writing romance novels. I find it intriguing how two people from opposite ends of the spectrum can find common ground that develops into something more. Those books of mine, Kissing Livvy and Finding Lucy, were a joy to write. The Witness Tree, just plain has my heart. This story nudged me for a good long time before I sat down and began writing. Navigating between the past, and the future to tell the stories of Esther and Helen was a challenge, yet so rewarding. 

This writing bug bit me early on, but I didn't follow that inner guide for quite some time.  I find that writing can be such a personal form of expression that it's sometimes hard to share for what it reveals about what lurks deep inside us. I have had many mentors over the years and an exemplary support system. And what I have found is the immense value in finding like-minded souls to weather the journey by my side. Raised in WI, I write from my tiny abode in White Bear Lake, MN.
